We had a great experience using Thompson Electric for our new build detached 4-car garage at our personal residence. Richard and Julian did a great job with excellent workmanship and prompt service. Richard did a great job getting my condo back up and running after we had a power outage that only affected half of the house. He was able to identify and solve the issue within one hour! Quick, kind, and professional. Will definitely do business with him again

Richard of Thompson Electric was a very experienced electrician. After I texted him a few pictures of my electrical panel, he quickly spotted the problem, ordered the parts, and scheduled an appointment. It was a very smooth process from getting the estimate to finishing the work. Richard was very responsive in answering my questions and addressing my concerns, and showed great customer service. I have found him very professional and competent, and will definitely call him when I need help again.

This is our second time working with Thompson Electric and they have been outstanding to work with from start to finish both times. They are very thorough, taking the time to make sure every detail of the job was handled with care and professionalism. Communication is always upfront and honest which I really appreciate. They showed up right on time every day and even completed some additional work we mentioned at the very end of the project without any hesitation. I reached out for electrical help on Yelp a week or so ago. Richard was the first person/company to reach out to me. He was extremely personable and attentive to my request. He and Julian came to my home to provide the service last Friday 10/17/2025. They were professional, patient, and kind. They understood my request and performed the service accordingly. I was pleasantly surprised. And I am pleased with my Govee lighting.

I’ve used Richard and his team several times now, and they continue to be my go-to electricians. He was originally recommended by my builder, and I’m so glad I listened!
